EyeFlyFish Guide Service was started by Dr. Charles Griffen in 2021.
Charlie caught his first trout in Lake George when he was 5 years old and he has been hooked ever since! He got his first fly rod at age 12 and started fly tying shortly there after. His primary passion is fishing for wild trout, but he also loves fishing for steelhead, smallmouth bass, shad and even fallfish! He became a licensed PA fly fishing guide in 2021 and has fished all over the US, including Alaska. He is currently Vice-President of Valley Forge Trout Unlimited and donates a portion of his tips to this great organization. He is also head instructor of Dame Juliana League Fly Fishers' Annual Learn to Fly Fish Course He loves working with anglers of all abilities and looks forward to helping you learn how to catch more fish!
